Overview
ACCE thesis
Fluidra makes pool and wellness equipment, including pumps, filtration systems, heat pumps, cleaners and automation controls, sold largely through pool builders and specialist retail across Europe and the Americas. The structural case rests on the installed base: once a pool is built, it generates recurring demand for replacement parts, chemicals-related equipment and efficiency upgrades, which makes the business less cyclical than its new-build exposure suggests. The obvious near-term driver is a recovery in pool construction and replacement volumes after the post-2022 destocking, but the data we have does not yet confirm the timing or the size of that rebound, and revenue growth is not available in our feed. What stands out is the valuation gap: the trailing P/E of 20.1 compares with a forward P/E of 11.4, implying that consensus expects earnings to rise sharply over the next year, which is worth testing against the order book and channel inventory data before accepting it. At a EUR 3.3bn market cap with no index membership, the name sits outside the coverage most of our peers rely on, so the first task is to verify the earnings bridge and margin trajectory, since our margin fields are blank.
