Overview
ACCE thesis
Entravision runs Spanish-language broadcast TV and radio stations in the US, plus a digital advertising arm (Entravision Digital) that sells programmatic display, video and performance campaigns to Hispanic-focused audiences. The moat is the audience itself: a scaled Spanish-language reach in key US markets that general-market broadcasters and national digital platforms find hard to replicate efficiently. The reported 126% revenue growth is almost certainly inflated by acquisition or a one-off base effect, so the more useful signal is the margin structure: a 13.3% operating margin against a 25.6% gross margin, with a forward P/E of 10.2 sitting far below the trailing 333.5, which says the market expects earnings to normalise sharply. Before anyone looks further, the question is whether the trailing numbers are distorted by a transaction or impairment and what the underlying digital growth rate actually is. At a 5.7% ROE the business is not yet earning much on its equity, so the case rests on whether that forward earnings step-up is real.
