Lindab makes ventilation and climate products for commercial and residential buildings: ductwork, air distribution units, roof and wall systems, and the Lindab Comfort and CoolTech lines. The structural tailwind is the push for energy-efficient, low-carbon building envelopes in Nordic and Northern European construction, where its pre-engineered sheet metal products and regional installation network give it local scale. Growth has been flat, with revenue up only 1.6%, so the near-term case rests on margin recovery rather than volume, and an operating margin of 6.6% against a 28.3% gross margin shows how much of the gross profit is absorbed by overhead. At a trailing P/E of 14.8 and a forward P/E of 9.6, the market is pricing in a meaningful earnings rebound, which is the first thing to test. ROE of 9.6% is respectable but not exceptional for a manufacturer this size. The name is worth a deeper look if you can see a credible path to operating margin expansion, and the forward multiple gap is the reason to look.
