What changed

$OUST just saw its ACCE composite score drop 15 points, moving from 54 to 39 out of 100. That is a meaningful single-move decline, and it warrants a closer look at what the current score breakdown actually shows.

The three subscore pillars right now are Growth at 64, Value at 10, and Quality at 43. A composite of 39 reflects a stock where one strong dimension — Growth — is being heavily offset by serious weakness elsewhere.

The Value score of 10 is the most obvious drag. $OUST carries a market cap of $2.53B against a trailing P/E of 0.0 and a forward P/E of 0.0, which signals the company is not yet generating the earnings needed to anchor a traditional valuation. The analyst consensus target sits at $46.86 against a current price of $46.17 — that is essentially no upside priced in from the sell-side, which does nothing to help a Value score that is already near the floor.

The Quality score of 43 reflects real structural concerns. ROE sits at -25.2%, net margin is -30.1%, and FCF yield is -2.6%. These are not rounding-error negatives — they show a business still burning cash and not yet converting its revenue growth into profit. The one bright spot here is that earnings quality is flagged as strong, meaning the reported numbers appear reliable even if the underlying economics remain challenged.

What it means

A 15-point score drop of this size typically reflects a deterioration in one or more subscores rather than a single data point shifting. Given where the numbers sit today, the most likely contributors are:

Value compression. When a stock rallies hard — $OUST is up 155.5% over the past year — valuation multiples stretch and the Value subscore tends to fall. More price appreciation without corresponding earnings improvement pushes that score lower.

Momentum fading or reversing. A stock that has run 155.5% in a year can see its momentum subscore weaken quickly if recent price action stalls or pulls back. Momentum is backward-looking by design, and a large prior gain sets a high bar for continuation.

Earnings miss. $OUST missed estimates by -1.2% in Q2 FY2026. That is not a catastrophic miss, but any miss can nudge quality and growth expectations in the wrong direction, particularly when margins are already deeply negative.

The Growth score of 64 remains the clearest positive. Revenue grew 48.9% year over year, which is a real and substantial number. If $OUST can begin translating that top-line momentum into margin improvement, the Quality and Value scores have room to recover.

For now, the composite score of 39 reflects a high-growth, high-risk profile where the business has not yet proven it can scale profitably. See the full live breakdown at acceinvestments.com/stocks/OUST.
